The Dropkick Murphys
The Dropkick Murphys showed up as billed, both as a highly produced act and one that had the crowd pouring over the barriers into the photo pit.

Depeche Mode at Verizon Center, 2017
As a synth and industrial music village elder, this show was an honor to shoot for Parklife DC.

Highwaisted, Nightclub DC9
I’ve shot these guys since they were playing illegal basements. Following their musical and visual progression has been a surf-rock long term thread.

Ashish Vyas, Thievery Corporation
“Hash” is the frontman baseline that runs through every live Thievery Corporation show. The band rolls out several lineups throughout their performances, but his presence both opens the show and anchors the spectacle no matter who has the mic. Nikon D850 with ‘62 58mm Nikkor, for ESL Records.

GWAR
GWAR is well known as a spectacle, one that some follow whenever they’re able to catch them, others as a metal-music checkbox that must be filled. They aren’t simply shock act however, they play tight-as-a-drum metal while performing their mock-combat vignettes in eight-foot costumes; no mean feat. Nikon D850, 16-35mm Nikkor, for Parklife DC

Blothar, GWAR
